About the Academic Sports Department

The Department of Academic Sport at the Technical University of Košice offers students a wide range of physical education courses and provides employees with opportunities for physical activity and relaxation.

The department supports students in improving their physical fitness and promotes an active lifestyle. It also prepares and coordinates university representation at major academic sports events, including the University Finals, Slovak Academic Championships and the Slovak Universiade.

In addition, the department organises sports courses, one-day events and competitions according to the university sports calendar.
